Hansen's Gives Back
Not All Heroes Wear Capes
It's our responsibility to not only serve our clients' plumbing needs, but it's our pleasure to also serve our modern day heroes whose selflessness have protected millions.
We recently partnered with Habitat For Humanity of Ventura and the VFW of Simi Valley on the renovation of the veteran's building. By providing a complete water and gas repipe, installing a new waste system for the bar renovation, providing a new tankless water heater and reworking the plumbing in the mechanical room we hope that the center will continue to be a place of refuge for veterans for years to come.
Thanks for being a part of the journey!
We are thankful to have been a part of the project and contribute to bettering our community. We look forward to partnering more in the near future!

We all have those everyday home nuisances that don't necessarily need professional services, but do need some attention.
In our section, The Fix, we will give you tips and tricks to overcome those everyday problems...
Check out these easy do-it-yourself techniques, and learn how to unclog your toilet today!
Step 1: Is your water rising? Begin by taking off the lid and closing the toilet flapper, which allows access to flowing water from the toilet tank to the toilet bowl. Make sure that you close the toilet flapper quickly if too much water is coming through.
Step 2: Bring out the plunger! We recommend trying the accordion plunger. The smaller suction cup fits best over the toilet drain. The toilet plunger is more versatile and can be your go-to when solving problems around the house.
Step 3: Use a drain snake; a series of connected spirals that reach into your pipes until coming across the clog. Once you turn the snake clockwise, the tip will screw into the clog and break up the unnecessary waste or pull out any additional remains caught on the wire.
TIP: Bring the heat! Add a few cups of hot water into the toilet bowl to loosen up materials in the clog. This trick will leave you flushing in no time. If the hot water isn't enough, try switching that out with hand soap or dishwasher liquids.
So there you have it, folks; a do-it-yourself approach that works. Stay tuned for more Hansen's Plumbing tricks coming down The Pipeline.
